CallKin is a wristband for kids that puts your emergency contact info one tap away from anyone who finds them, no app to install, no account for the finder to create. Just tap the band with any NFC-enabled smartphone (iPhone or Android, both work automatically) and their phone opens a page with your name and number, ready to call.

Nothing personal is stored on the wristband itself: it holds only a secure, one-time link. Your contact information lives safely in your CallKin account, and you control it entirely: edit it any time, or turn on Lost Mode from your dashboard to show an extra alert to whoever scans the band.

How it works

  1. Join the waitlist: the band can't be ordered directly yet. Our first batch is on its way and clearing customs. Leave your email and we'll let you know as soon as ordering is open.
  2. Create your free CallKin account at callkin.co and add your child's profile.
  3. Tap the band with your own phone to link it to your child's profile, takes about 10 seconds, no typing required.
  4. Have your child wear it. If they're ever lost, anyone who finds them can tap the band with their phone and immediately see how to reach you.

A note on how CallKin works

CallKin helps a stranger reach you faster if your child is lost, it's not a monitoring service and not a substitute for calling emergency services. In any situation involving immediate danger, call your local emergency number first. The band is intended for use under adult supervision, and should not be used if it shows signs of damage or wear.

Recycling and disposal

The wristband contains a passive NFC chip and must be disposed of as electrical waste. It must not be thrown away with ordinary household waste.

You can hand it in free of charge at shops that sell similar products, or at your municipal collection point for electrical waste. Use sortere.no to find the nearest one. Take-back is always free.

The chip holds no personal information, only a web address. We still recommend removing the band from your account before handing it in.
